5.0 out of 5 stars Good music to relax to, June 26, 2007
This review is from: Ascendent (Audio CD)

I heard Angel Wings playing in a local bookstore and immediately knew I had to have it. I rarely make impulse purchases but in this case it was definitely worth it. This album is well balanced and is perfect for relaxing to. I also found Drops of Grace and Ascendent to be particularly soothing and well worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Melding Of Sinister Melodies, & Beautiful Strings..., November 29, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Ascendent (Audio CD)
As an avid fan of electronic music, Right from the seventies, I have to say this CD is one of the VASTLY different, Sensual, Beautiful, & Somewhat epic addition to my collection... The Music is beyond dream like. It sits on the very edge that fabric of dreams, Almost as if it is attracting all the positive vibes you can imagine...

As the inlay states, its genre remains to be classified because it is on its own for now. It is very remeniscent of "gypsy" style, Much as the image on the front cover suggests, Masked ball Music, Funfair Music, Or however you classify it, it's still stands divinely different... It is aptly classified under "Ethno-Electronic Lounge"...

If you are seeking similarities in music from any other artists, the only one that comes close to, But not close enough, is "Mythos" The Greek Duo, In Albums such as "Purity", "Reality Of a Dreamer", & their self titled first release "Mythos"...

Whatever your selected Genre, I think there's something in here for everyone. The Track "Nuevo Tango", Is Exactly as the title depicts, & Highlights the Dance style we all know as "Tango"... But Its the other tracks on the CD that shine, Simply because there is a massive fusion of styles, & Ethnicities showcased in each song...

Finally, Please disgregard a few of the tags on this cd, because it sounds nothing like "Celtic Music", And "Female Vocals" (Because ONLY 1 Track contains vocals)...
