MICROLET Lancets - 25 gauge needle Microlet Lancets are sterile lancets for use with Microlet and Glucolet Automatic Lancing Devices. MICROLET Directions: Insert lancet, twist off the protective cap After use, place the protective cap on flat surface with Bayer Logo facing down. Push lancet securely into the middle of the exposed side of the cap. With thumb, push release button or plunger cap to expose lancet. Grasp lancet body and remove. Discard.

Several Diabetes testing supply companies give you a free or really inexpensive test kit. I received the Bayer Contour. I found out that since I am not on Medicare yet I would have to rely on my insurance to help with the cost of testing supplies. This to me is a racket. You get the testing machine free, however the supplies cost hundreds of dollars a month and most of it out of my pocket. Amazon has great prices on all of these testing supplies. Test strips usually 70-100 dollars a month, lancets around twenty, however I can buy them from Amazon for $25.00 for test strips, $7.00 for lancets and you can not beat that when the cost is out of pocket.
