Editorial Reviews

About the Artist
"Bassist/composer Bruno Råberg has toured the world since 1974, working with renowned European jazz artists like Eje Thelin, Bobo Stenson, and Monica Zetterlund before relocating to America from his native Sweden on scholarship to New England Conservatory in 1981. He has been a professor and world-traveling clinician at Boston's Berklee College of Music since 1986, while also actively performing/recording internationally with the likes of Sam Rivers, Billy Hart, Orange Then Blue, John Medeski, Jim Black, George Garzone, Rachel Z. and Bob Mintzer among many others. His own groups have included premier players such as Bruce Barth, Jerry Bergonzi, Mick Goodrick, Bob Moses, and Yoron Israel. "

Product Description
New CD release from innovative bassist Bruno Råberg. Saxophonist Allan Chase, trumpeter Phil Grenadier and drummer Marcello Pellitteri are featured on this exciting blend of original jazz with hints of world music. "Råberg’s lyricism and his strong rhythmic conviction come through." Bob Blumenthal "Råberg plays strong, backing his compositions deftly and soloing with skill and emotion." Ed Friedland, Bass Player Magazine "Procession" opens with a gorgeous unaccompanied statement by Råberg." Philip Booth, DownBeat
