This is something like the fourth Djam Karet CD title that's passed through my hands. Best described as 'progressive / Avant Garde'. Tracks that make this disc somewhat of a keeper are the *ss-kicking "Arose From The Ashes", the beautifully played "Licking The Skull", "Special Cases" and the sixteen-minute "Disintegration". Personnel: Gayle Elliett - electric guitar, organ, wooden flute, e-bow & sythesizer, Mike Henderson - guitars, dumbek, field recordings & effects, Chuck Oken, Jr. - drums, percussion, keyboards & programming and Henry J. Osborne - 5-string bass & didgeridoo. Should pull in fans of King Crimson, Robert Rich and maybe Pink Floyd or even Tangerine Dream.
