Colleen Hitchcock has written the most beautiful and comforting poem that I have ever read. I have given several of these "And If I Go" framed prints to friends and family who have lost someone close to them. It has helped them immensely.

When someone passes away, often it seems as though everything that one says to comfort them sounds so trite and meaningless. This poem so beautifully expresses the hope that I feel that often there is a bond that even death cannot break; that long after they are gone that you can feel their presence in your heart.

The print is EXQUISITELY framed with superior materials and the workmanship is PRESTINE. It is set as though it is infused between two pieces of glass. The effect is very tasteful and fits into ANY decor.

I often give this instead of flowers because it comforts them as they pass by it throughout the day. Ironically, I give it most often to those who have lost a dear pet. If you are not a "pet person" - I guess that you may have trouble relating to this, but I had a dog who was with me for 12 years. I found her when she was very young and she was the most brilliant and loyal dog that I have ever encountered. I trained her as an assistive dog as I worked for the Deaf and Blind School at that time and she went everywhere with me. If I went to another room, she followed me. When she passed away, I grieved more than when I lost my father or grandparents (and I loved them all very much). But because she was constantly with me, I felt as though a part of me had died. This poem helped me more than anything in the world. ...

I ordered this for my mother. She loved this poem and it comforted her after she lost her husband. Colleen Hitchcock is a very talented poet. I ordered this and received it very quickly. Overall, an outstanding poem and great ordering experience (I even received a thank you note from Colleen Hitchcock...how cool is that?!). Highly recommended.
