4.0 out of 5 stars An uneasy tense emotional ride, December 16, 1999
This review is from: Asesinos (Audio CD)
One of the best albums I own, from one of the most inspiring bands I've ever heard. This album slowly pulls one mood out from under you and replaces it with another. It slides from melancholy trance, to over whelming intensity then back again seamlessly. It runs the gamut of musical emotions. Most of the album inspires a mood very different from their live shows, but no one could ever put a Crashworship show on a CD, and the mood they produce on this album is sublime in its own right.

4.0 out of 5 stars Are You Awake?, August 9, 2000

Inside of us all is a primal personality that is supressed because society frowns on it's exisitance. This music will wake that personality up. Nothing can compare to a Crash show, but this CD will nonetheless stir your spirit and unleash your wild side. Their music is a techno, industrial, tribal mix that is combined with wispering chants and emotionally charged lyrics that will open your eyes to a simpler side of the human existance. Their name fits them perfectly. The crash of our modern world blended with primal worship.

5.0 out of 5 stars A most decadent feast for the senses, April 13, 2006

This is the ultimate tarbaby and sick sex rock theater of the senses - no cheap trick or sublime effect escapes their practiced hand. Banned throughout Latin America for ties to the occult and certain underground figures, the profound effect of their appearance still resonates long after the groups demise, sadly our heros were undermined and ultimately betrayed by the turncoat lead drummer, a certain Simon Cheffins whose poor taste and opportunistic nature inevitably made the troupe a caricature of itself.
