Book Description

December 1, 1996
Don Asher, author of the popular OVERNIGHT series, tackles one of the hottest topics in business today: the executive r?©sum?©. From V.P. on up to C.E.O., this book provides the largest compendium of executive r?©sum?©s available to the general public. Whether he's giving hints on getting head-hunted, upgrading your current position, or launching an all-out top-level job hunt, Asher has the tricks of the trade, and the successful executive client base to back it up. Through R?©sum?© Righters, his very successful service, he has helped many, many executive-suite types (from bank presidents to advertising directors, sales leaders to legal eagles) find that elusive dream job. Packed with hints and tricks discreet enough for the executive suite, but offbeat enough to be unusually effective. Includes hard-to-find information on such high-level requirements as the narrative biography, the modified chronological r?©sum?©, and the corporate presentation.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best resume reference book I have ever used, July 20, 1999

This review is from: Asher's Bible of Executive Resumes and How to Write Them (Paperback)
Asher has laid out the book in an easy to follow style. I like that he gives more than one opinion on different styles and formulas for a good resume. His book gave me some great ideas. As a recruiter it is very helpful to have an insighful reference like this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent companion to Rites of Passage, April 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Asher's Bible of Executive Resumes and How to Write Them (Paperback)
Not for entry level or middle managers. It gives a very good explanation of what it takes to write an effective resume at the General Manager, VP, CEO level. The main body of the book is dedicated to present real examples (More than 200), of course the names and companies modified for confidentiality.

Other chapters dedicated for Artists, Scientists, lawers etc.
