5.0 out of 5 stars The Ashes Bloom, November 17, 2008

This review is from: The Ashes Bloom (Audio CD)
I love this album. The more I listen to it the better it gets and it was really good to start with. I can totally understand the Elliott Smith references, a few of the songs could be on one of Elliott's albums and you may never know they weren't his. Of course, this reference as far as I'm concerned is a good thing and I'm sure Reed KD is not upset by it either. However, this album is way more than that. If you are willing to check out unknown artists and give them an honest listen, start with Reed KD; he deserves it and so do you.

An absolute mellow masterpiece! In my top 10 to take to the island. The whole cd is great from start to finish, no need to skip any tracks.

Reed is a cross between Eliott Smith and Simon Garfunkel. This album is filled with sweet melodies.
