Scorched Earth

The Travel Stones

Before the Age of Dragons, Travel Stones allowed instant movement throughout Telara. But Akylios bade the sea swallow them up, and so they stayed until the Ascended slew that mad god.

The Travel Stones have emerged in dire disrepair and haunted by a strange song. Karine, the first Bard, calls the Ascended to restore the Stones and use them to reach an exiled people’s distant kingdom, where the Wanton and the Golden Maw work together to unleash volcanic doom upon Telara.

Can the Ascended break the cults’ brutal alliance, or will Telara choke upon the Ashes of History?

These come with the collector's edition

With the Ashes of History Edition (this item) instead you get:
1)Spindrel mount: available immediately matches the speed of your swiftest mount (just a different toon)
2)Personal banker: Access your vault anywhere in Telara with your trusty bogling banker, Moneybags
3)Faction tabard: Show off your faction pride with these new tabards.

Not sure which I would have prefered, but I got this item so I got the second set. Just wanted to clarify it for others.

The game itself is not bad, but dealing with stubborn antique camera settings and interface get to be a pain. The main problem, I thought were the titular RIFTS. Opening randomly and spewing out random monsters, if unchecked (as most hardcore players seem to ultimately ignore them...) they soon overwhelm a quadrant and make life quite the bitch for the average player. I want to explore, do quests, farm, and so on, but had to spend most of my time RIFT babysitting so I didn't get totally ganked. Not a bad title, but not worth investing serious time on, either...

A very challenging program that is exceptional in all aspects. It will take me some time to learn all the ins and outs of this one!
