For one who spent WWII as a child in South Carolina and was born & spent many years in North Carolina, this book has great interest for me as both subjects have always been.Nazi POWs in the Tar Heel State Being basically a photo album with commentary, it is easy to read and pick up again at a later time. For one who has spent a lot of time in Ashville (which regrettably I haven't) the old photos of buildings and settings will be of great interest, especially when compared to what's there today.
