Like Autobiography? You'll Love This!,
This review is from: Ashlee Simpson - Autobiography (Paperback)
Lots of people might think that this is a book about Ashlee Simpson, but it's not. It's actually a piano/vocal/guitar book of "Autobiography". It includes piano notes for all twelve of the songs on Ashlee's debut album. It includes all lyrics, too. If you know how to play the piano or guitar, and like Ashlee Simpson's "Autobiography", you should buy this so you'd be able to rock on with Ashlee. Any Ashlee fan who can play piano or guitar should get this. The lyrics are included too!
Here are all the songs in this book: 1) Autobiography 2) Pieces of Me 3) Shadow 4) LaLa 5) Love Makes the World Go Round 6) Better Off 7) Love Me For Me 8) Surrender 9) Unreachable 10) Nothing New 11) Giving It All Away 12) Undiscovered I really like this item. If you haven't heard "Autobiography", I suggest you listen to it before buying this.

Think about it,
By The Late Greats (Chicago) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ashlee Simpson - Autobiography (Paperback)
Do you rememeber the episode of the Ashlee Simpson Show that she dedicated to showing us how hard it is to write a book? No? That's because she did not write this book!! She can hardly read. Do you think she really wrote a book?
Wake up America! Hopefully she will just go away, and maybe show up a few years later on The Surreal Life with Paris Hilton, K-Fed Spears, and Jude Law.

i really enjoyed this book,it gave more insight about the artist and how much she's changed throughout jessica's career to establish her own. if you've been watching ashlee's reality show... you've come to realize the hardships she's had and how she's a stronger person for it. i personally love ashlee, her music is great, and she's innovative and has stepped out of her sister's shadow amazingly. i wish ashlee better luck for the future and for all of you haters it was a backing track on snl because of her acid reflux and at orange bowl they made her change her lyrics, couldn't hear herself and wasn't singing to a crowd of individuals who were familar with her music. just thought i'd clear that up for ashlee's sack :):)

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Ashlee Simpson - Autobiography (Paperback)
Ashlee's "Autobiography" was (and still is!) the best CD in the whole universe. So you know what? This is probably the best piano/vocal/guitar book in the universe! If you enjoyed Ashlee debut album, I guarentee you'll enjoy this!

Amen to Egg Plant,
By Chris (St.Louis,MO) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ashlee Simpson - Autobiography (Paperback)
He got it on the money when he said people are rebelling against reality show like Americas worst singer(American Idol)
and Paris Hilton. This CD is also garbage. At least she is very very very very good looking which is really cool.

Great book about someone without talent,
By shortbear "shortbear" (St. Louis, MO) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ashlee Simpson - Autobiography (Paperback)
First it was the SNL incident where she is caught lip synching. Ofcourse she blames it on the band... oh no maybe it was acid reflux.
Then she throws a bomb singing at the halftime of the Orange bowl and gets booed off stage. This book explores how someone without talent is still able to get into showbiz. It shows that with the proper connections, lac of talent can be overlooked as long as your sister is popular.

Here we go again...,
By Eggplant "Eyehateamazon" (state of denial) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ashlee Simpson - Autobiography (Paperback)
As most of you have heard by now, at the Orange Bowl in Miami the other day, good old Ashlee Simpson "performed" one of her "songs", this time actually SINGING, as opposed to lip-synching (ba ba ba ba! ba ba ba ba BABY! Don't forget! My! Number! I-- oh sorry, wrong "act")... boy oh boy, she doesn't sound so pretty without them high-falutin' computers, does she? She sang like a duck getting beat over the head with a cat, and guess what - no brain-dead pre-teen girls to fall back on THIS time! The 70,000+ football fans BOOED HER RIGHT OFF THE STAGE! YES! SCORE ONE FOR BRAIN CELLS!
So why am I bothering to write this? Well, I just had a revelation, my friends. Consider this: * Ashlee tanked. * The American Horsepower Race is back on - the Mustang, GTO, and Charger are back! People want raw American muscle again! * Good Charlotte's new "allbimmmm" went over like a lead balloon. * Hanson, the Baha Men, and Mase were all denied major comebacks. * Vin Diesel has now vanished into obscurity. No more grunting all the way to the bank for him. * People are starting to rebel against reality TV. You can only have so much of that. (Oh boy, oh boy! Who Wants To Marry A Second Cousin's Father's Aunt's Former Roomate XIVVIVC is on! Sounds like GOOOOOOD watchin'! * sarcasm *) * People are getting REALLY sick of Paris Hilton. What am I getting at, you might be asking yourself. Well, my point is, it seems to me that the stupid pop culture of the early 00's is fading - FAST. It is now 2005 - we are already in the middle of the first decade of the new millenium! Rice rockets and Chingy are becoming a thing of the past. It's time for a change... So, my point is, this hopefully is marking the end of an era. The era of commercial shallowness. What we need now is the next big thing to blow us away. The next Nirvana. The next Beatles. The next Led Zeppelin. The next Black Sabbath. The next... well, you get my drift. I think it just might be coming sooner than expected... (To all of you who STILL support Ashlee - that's right, both of you - feel free to click "No" now.) |
