About the Author
Marylou Morano Kjelle is a freelance writer who lives and works in central New Jersey. Marylou writes a column for the Westfield Leader/Times of Scotch Plains—Fanwood called “Children’s Book Nook,” where she reviews children’s books. She has written fifteen nonfiction books for young readers and co-authored and edited others. Marylou has a M.S. degree in Science from Rutgers University and teaches both science and writing at a community college in New Jersey.
