Formerly trained for racing, he is now being trained for eventing. Last Year he was the Maine Entry Level Champion in Combined Training.

What a book!!,

Ashleigh's Cristmas Miracle is the best TB-book EVER!!!! I cried every time i read this book!! Well, in the book Ash is expecting her first child right after the New Year! But on Cristmas Eve, a stallion's kick puts her life and the life of the her baby in jeopardy. In the hospital, Ashleigh dreams of her daughter's life without her. Will Ash live to see her daughter become a winner, or will her dreams for her daughter die with her?

I think this is DEFINATELY the best book since "A horse called Wonder." I mean, there were many great attempts but nothing like this. Joanna, you should write them all. You have The Talent. I also just read "Ashleigh's Diary" and that was wonderful. I almost cried like 5 times in both books. Keep writing them yourself Joanna!

A bit confusing at first, but great after you figure it out!,

At first I didn't really get this book. I mean, in the prologue Ashleigh's like in a coma or something and no one's sure whether she'll live or die. Then the entire story takes place as if she dies, but then in the end it says she lives. I didn't really get it. But then I figured out the whole story was about how everything would have played out if Ashleigh had died. How her daughter, Christina, goes on to be a great Eventer and win second in the Rolex and so on. It's a bit confusing, but after I read it for the second time I understood how the book worked.
