I love the Thoroughbred series and I love this book.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ashleigh's Farewell (Thoroughbred Series #17) (Paperback)
I really don't get how people could possibly give this book bad reviews. I was a little sad when Ashleigh couldn't ride Glory any more but I was excited about her having a baby. I simply love the Thoroughbred books and I loved this one too. My favorite one is Ashleigh's Christmas Miracle and I've read a lot of them. I strongly suggest you read it along with all the rest. But if you are considering reading Ashleigh's Farewell don't listen to what everyone says because it's a good book and so are all the other Thoroughbred books. There is one for every kind of person and you might just find one you like. I give this book a 4 star rating because I like some of them better. But I've read 1-18,plus Ashleigh's Diary, Samantha's Journey, Ashleigh's Christmas Miracle, and I plan to read Ashleigh's Hope next. I may only be 11, but I know a lot about horses and about these books and I think you should give this book a try. Keep writing Joanna ang I'll keep reading. Signed, Your biggest fan

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Ashleigh's Farewell (Thoroughbred Series #17) (Paperback)
In Ashleighs Farewell, March To Glorys racing career is getting better by the second. He wins race after race after race nonstop. Watching Glory and his jockey Ashleigh Griffen run under Whitebrook colors puts pride and joy in Cindy heart. Whitebrook is a large thoroughbred training and breeding farm. Ashleigh griffen and her husband Mike Reese own Whitebrook farm and produced many winning thoroughbreds. Ashleigh Griffen is one of the best jockeys in the country. Winning races on Glory makes it even better. But durning a workout, Ashleigh falls off Glory but she and Mike where smiling. Then she tells everyone that she is pregnate. But that could only mean one thing, Ashleigh cant ride Glory in his races. Ashleigh has decided to quit riding for a while and help coach Cindy and the other excerise riders. But when Ashleigh puts up a new rider, Glory wont perform. In his next race, Glory loses his very first race by a neck. Cindy knows Glory wont perform well for any body but Ashleigh and her. But Cindy is too young to be a jockey. But when the Breeders Cup Classics a few weeks away and Glory entered in it, who will ride? Find out if Glory and his new rider wins or Glory falls back.
