I was looking for an ironing board cover that was pretty and functional. This is a great alternative to everything available at Target and Walmart, which was boring and ugly. It has a builtin pad and velcro straps for a very secure fit, though I didn't really need to use the straps, it fits well without them. The pattern is very pretty, the fabric good quality, my only complaint is the picture above(the pink/blue/white one) is not the one I was sent, and there were no color options indicated when ordering.

I've never really had to iron all that much and only just realized that my ironing board and its cover were at least 30 years old. Looking to make ironing as pleasant an experience as possible, I was lucky enough to run across these Laura Ashley covers in my search. I ordered the cover even though there was no selection offered and was sent the cover appearing in the upper left hand corner of the illustration. It is beautiful, quilted and padded and reverses to a floral design on a yellow background, so I was pleased. It is also machine washable. I was also pleased at how snugly and smoothly it fits the ironing board and with the velcro fasteners. It was definitely worth the money and will last for many years to come. Note: August 2009 Country Living magazine has a picture of the ironing board cover and touts it as an "upgrade" to your ironing experience -- silly, but it's another picture of how the ironing board cover looks.

ordered 2 packs (2 board covers total) each were different so my wife is very happy with essentially 4 ironing board covers because they are reversable. nice thick padding seems very well made

This ironing board cover is the best I have ever had. HOWEVER I learned my lesson with my first one. I washed it as the instructions said to and it was ruined. So this is actually my 2nd one but I will now know not to wash it. I iron nearly every day and this is truly the best cover I have found.

Not only can you not choose which design you want, it was too small for my standard size ironing board. No amount of tugging was going to get this on the board! Returned it to Amazon with no problems!

Though the size of my ironing board is at the top limits of what it says the cover will fit, I couldnt get it on, no matter how I tugged and pulled. The pattern is pretty and I got the one I wanted. In fact, I got two but the one I tried to put on had a lump at the narrow end and would be uncomfortable to iron over.
I dont know if they are seconds or what but I was sadly disappointed.

My mother asked for an ironing board cover (among other things) for Mother's Day. She was so excited when she saw it was Laura Ashley. The name inspires confidence and quality. She loves Laura Ashley's prints and patterns. It's almost as if she got a two-for-one: Laura Ashley design on an ironing board cover. She loved it and was so excited; more than a woman should be about an ironing board cover! Thanks so much Amazon for stocking quality products in a convenient way to shop. It was quick and easy and arrived on time. It made my/her Mother's Day perfect!

This item arrived quickly and is more than satisfactory. Very pretty floral fabric on both sides of the reversible ironing board cover. It is well padded and fits perfectly on a standard-size ironing board.

I wanted a thick ironing board cover, Saw this one on line and ordered it. I am very pleased with it. The pad is nice and thick and the pattern is pretty. Well make.

I requested the rose pattern when ordering since I was not given a choice and got it! The thickness of the built in pad(in the middle) is just right for ease of ironing. I mostly iron my husband's dress shirts on this pad on my 20 yr old ironing board. Being that this is reversible is an added bonus. The Velcro holds nice and tight around the ironing board. Nice, thick elastic around all edges, also. No drawstrings! I would order this again, but somehow feel that it will be awhile considering the overall quality of this beautiful ironing board pad!
