I saw this in a showroom of a furniture store, it was a great fit for our living room because metal studs matched our sofa. The top surface is great: classy, yet durable enough to set drinks on. However, be aware that the construction is somewhat mediocre. One or two of the holes used to bolt the thing together were a little skewed, which made assembly slightly more difficult. But for the price, it's still a winner.

The table itself is very nice. Casual enough for my everyday, and elegant when I need it to be for hosting and to decorate for holidays! I have a 4 yr old, 2 yr, old, and an infant, the table is heavy enough the toddlers can't tip it and wide enough to serve two couches without being in the other's "space". PAIN IN THE REAR to get out of box though!! And mess-y with the styrofoam, geez.
