This movie is about a group of upper-class friends in Mexico City whose stories are told in an interrupted fashion by jumping around from person to person. Everyone in the group is dealing with his or her own set of problems. One is unhappily married to a total mama's boy and, when she meets a really glamorous older woman, thinks that she might be gay. Another has a drug problem, a terrible relationship with her emotionally distant father and is obsessed with an emotionally abusive man who is just using her for sex. Another has gone from being a recreational drug user to a drug dealer and, as a result, has gotten in way over her head with some really bad people. Another is a television actor who hides in the closet because he's afraid that coming out will ruin his career and then freaks out when he's caught by the police while making out with another man in the alley behind a straight club. Being a resident of Mexico City, I can tell you that the portrayal of the characters in the movie is very accurate. It will give you a look at how bored, wealthy Mexicans can create all kinds of interesting problems for themselves due to a lack of any real challenges in their lives because of their social and financial circumstances. In that way, it's kind of a Mexican "Less Than Zero" (If anybody remembers that movie from the '80's) but better acted and more convincing than that movie was. Overall, despite their somewhat vacuous lives, I found the characters sympathetic and found the movie engaging. The soundtrack is pretty good, too. If I were you, I would make sure that the version of the movie you buy comes with subtitles if you don't speak Spanish. Mine does NOT have them.

This Mexican production, while not trailblazing and undeserving of praise that indicates it, is a very well-done piece of entertainment. It is very well done and easy to follow and the narrative has a beginning, a cause and a consequence.

It reminds me alot of "Requiem For A Dream" only packaged in a Modern-day cosmopolitan Mexico. It's a story in which we could be any of these common, modern day working characters and we could all fall down. I think that is why this film works very well because the message is accesible to everyone especially the evolving but still relentlessly conservative Mexico.

Ana De La Reguera I think is not only incredibly gorgeous but like her compatriot Salma Hayek, possesses an ability to transform into a character that's believable. Everything can be reviewed about this film but there is no denying that Ana's character was believable.

I highly recommend this film for being a drama that's easy to follow and not too heavy. It was not a movie that was intended to break a mould or awaken people's senses like it is often accused to be but it is still an excellent story.

This one is ok. I would have liked it to be in English. The story line and plot line was nothing we all haven't seen before. the bonus was watching Ingrid Martz from "Que pobrus tan ricos" make out with other girls. that alone earns this one the 3 stars.

I really love the cast in this movie so I decided to buy it. I was not expecting this movie to be as crazy as it was! But in all honesty I think it was well done, and I really enjoyed it.
