I'm usually skeptical on products that don't have a review up already but I gave this one a shot. I wanted an asian styled lantern that used legitimate candle light. This is EXACTLY that. It's pretty nifty, and not too large as to be hard to place in a tiny room like a college dorm. It has a nifty way of putting the candle in via the bottom, which requires a simple twist. Looks great and the build quality doesn't feel too cheap. Go ahead buy one of these!I just wish I knew what the inscriptions said.

This Japanese calligraphy lantern made in China by a Japanese guy is very beautifully made would make an excellent table top piece for dinner or just an addition to a theme in a bedroom or livingroom. The person I got this for for Xmas absolutlely loves it!
