For the price, this wine cabinet is a steal. I purchased this wine rack in the Summer of 2008 for $150 with free in-home shipping. Beach wood contruction is light but sturdy and takes stain very well. Our house uses a Lenox furnace which can get pretty dry in the winter (15-20% humidity) and with a room humidifier gets it up near 28-30%. With this dryness, two wood joints on the top piece split, but just took a little walnut stain and it is no longer noticeable.
