I really enjoy this album., June 16, 2009

I don't know any Turkish. And this album is in Turkish but I have listened to it a half dozen times. It is delightful and she has a lovely voice. Full of "color" and "feeling" which I can appreciate in any language. She and Demir Demirkan were eating next to me and my girlfriend in a Japanese restaurant in New York, and we all were talking "music" for over an hour. She was this sweet young woman and Demir was this handsome guy. I didn't know they were superstars in Turkey. When we told the Turkish green grocer in Jackson Heights about them, the guy was shocked. They were definitely his IDOLS. I bought the album and it is quickly becoming a favorite. An American audience will love Sertab Erener.
