I bought this DVD directly from [...] and it is awesome. I could never have done as good of a job on the crown molding in our dining room if I hadn't gotten this DVD. The instructions are great for a do-it-yourselfer.
Tim tells you everything you need to know.

While he introduces a lot of the helpful hints to do a good job, he doesn't go into detail about enough of the hints. He talks about using a wood file to shave off the ends, but goes through it too fast. It should have been twice as long with more detail. He says to get caulk, but never tells of how to use it. I didn't think it was comprehensive.

My husband and I watched this video before installing crown moulding for the first time. We would have been lost without it! Just follow Tim's instructions and you can't go wrong. Tim has you cut sample pieces for inside and outside corners with various angles (So important!). Make sure you cut them the length he shows you. My husband didn't want to waste expensive moulding so he only cut each sample piece a foot long. I think that's why we had a little trouble lining up some of the corners. The corner angles would appear to fit perfectly using our samples but when we cut the actual moulding and put it up we would run into an uneven spot in the ceiling or wall that we would have seen if the sample pieces had been longer. It's possible we would have ended up using different angles with better results if we had lined up the corners using longer sample pieces.
