awesome modern rock from NYC, February 17, 2011
Fans of The Strokes, Neon Trees, Bowie, Television, Bono-mullet-era U2, The Police will enjoy the raw power pop of The Head Set's debut EP, Ask Her Twice. Lead singer Jordan Blaugrund's powerful, soulful voice separates THS from the rest of the indie rock pack, and the band behind him is rock solid. A collection of energetic, almost punk rock tunes highlighted by 'Paper' & 'Problematique,' and a sign of great things to come from this band on their follow-up Way Past Used. Highly recommended for fans of modern rock.
