Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

What do Abraham, Moses, Deborah, and King David have in common? They all prayed and saw amazing results. Our reasons for praying are similar to those of these heroes of the Bible: sorrow, joy, guidance, and relationship. How can we get amazing results?

Walk through the earliest models of prayer and discover how our Israelite forefathers prayed. A prayer guide is included to help you use the same prayers in your own life.

Your reasons for praying are similar, but are your methods? Begin praying the way biblical heroes prayed. The results will amaze you.

Most Helpful Customer Reviews

Format: Paperback
When I received a review copy of this little book published by NavPress, I loved that Tony Jones had beautifully accomplished what I'd been trying to do in the Bible Prayers blog: provide a working definition of prayer, show prayer at work, give people a glimpse of the infinite healing power of God, and highlight Bible prayers or prayer principles that draw us closer to the Lord in the loving relationship God wants and we need. Well-done!
