Much like her blog, this ebook is quick and easy to read. It answers complicated questions in a simple way while giving you all of the facts you need. It's like having a chat with a buddy who is really smart about taxes and gets excited to answer a million questions... who wouldn't want a buddy like that?!

Kelly is the one writer I know of who can make such complicated subjects as the US income tax laws sound not only understandable but actually interesting, without making the reader feel stupid in the process. She never talks down - she talks *with* (a neat trick in a book) and you come away feeling smarter. And calmer. (Which, with taxes, is the neatest trick of all.)

Kelly Phillips Erb's no-nonsense e-book provides exactly what its title says. Even if you use tax preparation software (TurboTax, TaxAct), some areas can be pretty confusing. This e-book will blow the clouds away, making sense of even the most nonsensical IRS provisions.

Kelly has a knack for putting complex subjects into plain English. In addition, her writing style is very informal and entertaining, replete with stories about her own experiences as the mother of three young children. For less than the price of most kids' meals at a fast food restaurant, you'll get information that may save you some serious $$ on your next income tax return.

Tax law, rules and regulations are difficult at the best of time and even for tax professionals. Kelly's guide asks everyday questions (which we have all heard) and provides everyday answers (some of which we never knew).

It's not possible to know everything. Heck, even the IRS doesn't know all the law. (I have has occasion to fight them....and sort of win) Kelly's guide offers an easy read and provides practicle answers to complex questions. It's not a substitute for sound tax advice, however it is necessary start in your tax conversation with your tax professional.

I am not a tax professional, but I know people who are.
