5.0 out of 5 stars A Fun Way for Kids to Learn More About Their Father, January 14, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Go Ask Your Father! (Cards)
We've started using the cards once a week after Sunday dinner. Some questions have been light and fun, while others heavier, leading to further questions, and deeper discussions. My sons (11 & 7) love asking the questions and hearing the answers. The cards have been a great way for them to learn about things that they wouldn't have asked on their own. Highly recommended, and the price is right! Would make a great gift.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous idea!, July 24, 2003

Ever run into a brickwall trying to have a meaningful conversation with your father? Thanks to Go Ask Your Father I now know what my father admired most about his parents - their complete lack of prejudice towards anyone and any race. It was a conversation I'll never forget. Using the questions in this book I'm looking forward to more memorable conversations with my favorite, taciturn, old geezer. Go Ask Your Father is a very worthwhile investment.

These cards make a regular get together with family or friends a little more meaningful and fun. Bring a deck of cards to your next gathering with friends/family and you'll see what I mean. There's no room for boring chit chat here. You'll get to know things about people that will bring you closer to them, strengthen those bonds that bind you to each other, and definately get a good laugh. I think these will make the perfect stocking stuffers for everyone in my family!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun gift for the family., October 22, 2003

In todays go fast and no time world this game is perfect to get your family to slow down and get to know things about themselves that they might otherwise never know. It is a great way to find out things about each other that really make us who we are. The game has provided insights in our family on events, interests, and other aspects of ourselves that we had not taken the time to find out. Do your family a favor and spend time with this game asking all to answer the questions. You will have great fun, become closer and have a better understanding of each other. A must gift for the holidays!

I gave a deck of Go Ask Your Father cards to two friends recently while we were out to dinner. They opened them to look at some questions before palying with their dads. Can I just say it turned out to be one of the most interesting and touching dinners I've had ever. The emotions and memories that come up are incredible and we laughed and laughed the night away. It was great fun! Can't wait to try the other products.

5.0 out of 5 stars Get a great conversation going, October 21, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Go Ask Your Father! (Cards)
These cards are fantastic! I've used the Go Ask Your Father cards with my father and learned so much that never came up in our conversations before. I've used the cards with the rest of my family too, and they've started up conversations that take off from the card topic and cover lots of ground. I can't wait to try Go Ask Your Teenager! Thanks for a fun way to connect with my family when our lives are so busy.

What an amazing idea for a game! Really interesting conversation starters - a very, very clever concept. This is great for family gatherings when you often run out of things to say, instead of defaulting to the television!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Getting-to-Know-You tool, October 21, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Go Ask Your Father! (Cards)
The "Go Ask" cards are great communication tools and useful in so many situations. Having been a "step-parent" they were great to use playfully to get to know my new "sons". Having the questions on the cards eliminates the awkwardness that a teen (or child) might face in asking appropriate questions, and also permits a direct focus on the dialogue (rather than any pressure on coming up with the questions.) Thanks to the author for devising this easy and flexible way to encourage communication.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Conversation Starter, October 21, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Go Ask Your Father! (Cards)
We used this at a recent family get together. It was a great way for us (four siblings) to connect with our dad. We only needed a couple of questions - because each one would spawn further discussion. It got us off the typical - "How's it going Dad?" routine.
