Asleep In The Back is home to many timeless tracks which remain firm fan favorites and make up a good proportion of their live shows now, including the singles 'Powder Blue', 'Red', 'Newborn' and the epic 'Scattered Black And Whites'. The album was nominated for that year's Mercury Music Prize, which they would go on to win in 2008 for Seldom Seen Kid. Universal. 2009.

From the opening track "ANY DAY NOW" i was hooked. ELBOW has become one of my favorite bands of all time. Their live shows are fantastic. Buy this CD. Worship the ground ELBOW walks on. Bow down to them. They deserve it.
