I've been listening to Asleep At The Wheel for about 20 years now,and they get better all the time. This is probably their best collection of hits,some tunes performed LIVE. You won't sit still for long listening to these tunes,just put it on your cd player and it's party time!

THE BEST ARRAY OF COUNTRYMUSICIANS IN THE WORLD'SET THE TABLE' FOR THISFOOT-STUMPIN COUNTRY SWINGMUSIC.IF THIS MUSIC DOES NOT EXCITE YOUR TOES TO TAPPIN,THAN NOTHING WILL.

This is one of my favorite CD's. Great swing/2step music for dancing. It really puts you in an up beat mood!

I am a huge Asleep at the Wheel fan--even waiting hours in a crowded bar across the street from Wrigley Field to hear "There ain't nobody here but us chickens..."

I find the live versions of their great songs just a bit worn around the edges. The vocals pushing to get a crowd excited but not adding much to the sound. It curiously lacks some of the verve and humor of their studio albums.

Maybe you can only sing the Chickens song so many times...

But if you want to fill out your AatW Collection, this album provides a good example of their material.

Sad yes, but its legal.

This band just keeps getting better and better in Life.

There is no finer country swing band than Asleep at the Wheel. They've recorded a ton on live CDs, but this one has their best-known material, and they're at the top of their game throughout. This is what live music - in any genre - is about. Highest marks.
