When aspiring witch Brianna Claxton accidentally summons a demon from the Abyss, not even her favorite "Oops" spell can save her from her attraction to the dangerously hot, unbelievably arrogant demon, Asmodeus. But when four Death Angels appear and demand Brianna send Asmodeus back to his life of eternal torture, the fires that flare between Brianna and Asmodeus take on a new significance. Will they have to deny their forbidden love to save each other, or will love be the catalyst that redeems them?

4.0 out of 5 stars great read, December 4, 2009
This review is from: Asmodeus (Kindle Edition)
I loved Asmodeus by Dawn McClure and wish the book was longer. Brianna has never been good at spells. She has always struggled at witch craft until a friend gives her a magic book that should help with great spells. Of course something goes awry and Asmodeus appears. What a hunky hot hero. *fan self* Asmodeus is a fallen angel that has been suffering in hell for mingling among the humans and having children with his human partner. Unfortunately when Angels have children with humans they turn into horrible demons set to kill all in their path.

McClure gives us a steamy hero with Asmodeus and while Brianna was often irritating and a poor actress, I did enjoy their romance and watching their love develop. This story was much stronger than Azazel and felt like it had more development in the characters as well as the story line which has Angels and Assassins trying to send Asmodeus back to Hell to finish his sentence. Readers will enjoy the story of fallen angels and the reason behind the fall is well thought out and believable

5.0 out of 5 stars Asmodeus, May 6, 2009
This review is from: Asmodeus (Kindle Edition)
While trying to strengthen her witch powers, Brianna accidently brings Asmodeus back from the Abyss - the place in heaven where the worst of the fallen angels are sentenced. As if coming face to face with a tall hunky demon is not enough, Brianna is also faced with a decision: kill Asmodeus or be sent to the Abyss herself. She wants to live, but how can she kill him? Trying to gain his trust, Brianna gets to know Asmodeus. She discovers he is more man than demon. How can she kill the man she's grown to love?

Fallen angels are very hunky in Asmodeus. Brianna is a pretty average girl with some psychic talents and Asmodeus is sinfully sexy. Their relationship seems impossible, but against all odds, love conquers all. Demons and vampires, some good, some bad, make each page of Asmodeus exciting. Its intriguing storyline is a great addition to the Fallen Angels series.
