This is probably the most comprehensive construction law book I have ever read. It is an absolute must for a law student taking construction law.

First, I am not a lawyer, but a praticing design/ contruction professional. I have used this book for years. I find it very well written and easy to use. I have loaned it to so many lawyers when thing get tight that I don't remember all of them. I highly recommend this book for anyone who has to deal with contracts and construction. When things start to go sour, its a great resource for all parties involved.

This review is from: Legal Aspects of Architecture, Engineering and the Construction Process (Hardcover)
Written by an artisan of his craft. This should be the first book in a construction manager's library. The book is a fantastic reference for a national company or a local builder. Sweet walks you through the history and evaloution of the concepts, peppers them with real court decisions and analysis, applies them to today's enviornment, advises you of the current trends and tacitly invites you to join the discussion. I only wish I had the current edition. Required text for Western Carolina University's Master of Construction Management degree program.
