'I start the year with a pounding in my skull and the lingering taste of alcohol on my tongue. Lena, the Swedish exchange student I picked up in Bonaparte’s last night, is lying bound, naked and bloody on the floor before me...' And so begins Aspects of a Psychopath a novel by new author Alistair Langston.
Aspects of a Psychopath is a terrifying insight into the psyche of a serial killer. Written as a journal it takes the reader on a rollercoaster of emotions.
There are enough twists and turns in this to keep the reader turning the pages until they have finished. Not only does the author invite the reader to explore the world of the the central character, Saul Roberts; he also introduces a female character on par with Norman Bates.

Warning this book is not for those that are squeamish. that being said do not down load this book, then complain about the gore. speaking of gore this book is chockful of it esp at the beginning as it goes on it does loose some of its creepiness witch was a little disappointing but i do not think it could have propelled the storyline at such a heightened level anyway. i enjoyed the story greatly some may argue many of the characters were not developed but i think in all honesty everyone a psychopath encounters is two demensional. i did figure out the ending bout half way through but still i read on because the book in its rawness was very intriguing. it was very much as i think one reviewer put it like a scaled back clockwork orange with its blasee attitude towards violence. not sure it was making a statement like orange but u get the idea. in short if u like your fiction hardcore for .99 its well worth it.
