This item was very cheap (price wise) and great for what I need. My dog is only 4lbs so I don't know how large a dog it could hold but it works great for me.

Needed a tie-out to use on the pet stake we purchased, and this was so cheap we couldn't think of a reason why not. It is definitely NOT for big dogs (ours is 12lbs). It works well and is sturdy enough to not worry about it snapping or the dog chewing through it. My only complaint is that it's silver in color so can be a trip hazard (wish it was red or yellow or something that stands out). But other than that, it's a great cheap product and I wouldn't bother paying more than this for another tie-out when this one does the trick (for SMALL/MEDIUM dogs).
