I have played a lot of DS racing games. This is one of the best I have played. First, the framerate is smooth and the action is fast. Second, there are a ton of cars to choose from, complete with the ability to make upgrades. The addition of the police cars, bikes, and helicopters makes the action more frenetic than ever. This is a DS game so the graphics are not going to bowl anyone over, but they get the job done. Easily one of the more addictive games I have recently played.

Amazing doesn't describe how awesome this game is. The software programmers polished up this one very good and it shows from the moment you start up the cart. All speed with no sluggy graphics. Lots of real world cars to play with, from average sedans to SUV's and highend exotics and even has motorcycles. There are cops who will chase and try to stop you. Tracks placed around the world. There is even a mode that lets you play the cop and have to chase down and stop the racers. When playing as a racer, watchout for the police helicopter... they got a EMP, yes a EMP that will stop your car dead... so zig zag lots when you see the helicopter. The Moby music is great. The appearance of the Pussycat Dolls is a nice touch but not necessary as the game has enough polish already. I recommend everyone into auto racing games pick this one up, its a keeper!

This game is somewhat fun. The 2 problems I see with this game is that it very much repeats itself. I also do not like the graphics of the females. I would not recommend this for children.

I did not take a liking to Urban GT 1, but I found this sequel to be pretty addicting. At first, the racing seemed pretty dull and slow, but as you gradually gain money, you can buy faster cars and once you have some of the faster cars that can do around 250mph, the game become a lot more interesting.

The controls are pretty standard, left, right pad to steer, a and b for accelerator and brake, and just about any other button for nitro. There are a few tracks to choose from, both one way and in reverse, like a lot of racing games, however, if you go through the championship, you get very tired of the same tracks all the time. It could have used a few more.

Some how this game kind of reminds me of Rad Racer (NES) and those arcade games of the 80's that where like that one. Only the graphics are now 3Dish and more is involved. Prior to this, I had not played too many games involving racing, as I thought the DS was not capable of a decent racing game besides Mario Kart after playing such titles as Transformers and Monster Trucks and it's clones. However, I was quite surprised at how well this game has been put together.

It could definitely use some improvements for option wise and extras, but as far as a racing game goes that's more lenient to the realistic side of racing, this one is up there in my top 5 racing games on DS. It may be a completely different style to say Mario Kart and Ridge Racer, but it's worthy of playing a few more times even after you have finished the challenges and unlocked all the bonus cars.

The only thing I really hated about this game was the selection of music. I think I hate every single song on here, I selected to not hear music during the race, but if only I could stop the menu music with this god awful song that's lyrics sounds like, "they're talking us down, they've ruined our smell" - Who the hell gave Moby a record contract?
But that's a personal preference, you may enjoy the irritating tunes.

I totally object to the appearances of the Pussycat Dolls in this game. It is sooo unnecessary and detracts from the game. We do not need to sexualize our kids this way. The game should be rated Mature. Take away the lame lingerie ladies and the game would be great!!!

The game is kind of repetitive, and very unrealistic, but it's still fun. I wouldn't pay over $15 for it, though.

This game is very fun & has some great cars. I just wish they would've made the races a bit tougher.

My daughter received this game for Christmas. It has an "Everyone 10+" rating but I was shocked to see the suggestive content in this game. The appearance of the "Pussycat Dolls" at the end of the race should have awarded this game the "Mature" rating. Ladies dressed in racy bras and suggestive poses don't need to be included in games that are targeted for kids in the 10 year plus age group. I am returning the game and will be highly skeptical of the ESRB content ratings from this point forward.
