It is quite depressing that they will no longer be making music together, but this is a wonderful fairwell CD. Only wish it was longer!

Lydia, you will be missed!

Although this is easily one of my favorite bands, this album has taken a bit of time to grow on me. It was the "We Clean Up So Well" track which eventually led me to giving this album a second spin. And now it's playing in my head on a daily basis, even when I'm in no position to actually put the world away and listen to it.

I would probably be tempted to tell you that this album is 4 1/2 star material, because of its short length and the two very brief tracks it contains on top of its already quickly ended play time. But the short tracks leave you wanting more, the price is beyond fair, and the album is just so damn good.

If you're the idiot that I tend to be, you may not hear its brilliance on the first listen. But spin it again. You'll be glad you did. Buy now.

Guitars take the back seat. Lydia brings the craft of a singer-songwriter blended with the studio production of Erasure and Radiohead. There are haunting reminders of early, experimental Cocteau Twins, the gentler side of the Smashing Pumpkins and even some Imogen Heap in here. The sound is fresh and inspiring. The vocals could be labeled post-emo. At times subdued and others outspoken. The passion is there too. Try to find that in top 40. I bought this as an Amazon recommendation. What a tremendous pay off!

This is my favorite group, so I had to get this CD. Highly recommended to anyone who has a taste for music. I hope Lydia keeps making music, as it turns out this farewell album wasn't really farewell. It's amazing to see the evolution of this band over time.
