South of the Border Terrorists,
By Betty Cooper (Mississauga, Ontario Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Assassin [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Typical spy action film - lots of gratuitous violence. Steve Railsback does his usual good job - here he is a washed up CIA agent who has been relegated to the boondocks and is hitting the bottle. When a US senator is almost assassinated on his watch he pulls himself together and gets the bad guys in the end. Good supporting cast. Railsback's portrayal of a guy on the skids was powerful stuff - his drunk scene is worth the price of the film. The ... ain't bad either.
