5.0 out of 5 stars Every scrap of duck on the wind! January 11, 2014
Platform for Display:Xbox One|Edition:Limited Edition
I'm 50 hours into AC4, and the game is STILL fun. I've completed the campaign, explored every location, collected all Mayan artifacts, chests, bottled messages, animus fragments, manuscripts, etc. I've also completed all Assassin contracts, naval contracts, naval fort challenges, crafting challenges, etc. But there's STILL more to do, and most importantly - I'm still having a blast! This is, quite simply, the greatest open world I've ever seen in a game, and it's a joy to behold and explore. I typically don't enjoy open world type games too much, but this one is just about perfect, enhanced with intelligent "fast travel" options (not just for major locations, but for locations within other locations!), clearly marked objectives, and a beautifl ship that is magnificent to pilot across the open waters.

Though the combat (both on foot and aboard the Jackdaw) is fun and intuitive, my favorite parts of this game is the exploration. It's such a joy to sail across the Carribean, diving through sunken ships, searching for loot while attempting to avoid the notice of the circling Great White sharks... or slinking through a smuggler's cove, attempting to relieve the pirates of their stolen goods... or finding a new island with hidden secrets and interesting wildlife.

There is so much detail AND content packed into AC4, it's astonishing... it's clearly a labor of love, and one of the few games where you can actually see why it required hundreds of developers, programmers, and artists. It's so much fun, and such a beauty to behold, I still look forward to my trips into the animus, and I'm hoping for my content, in addition to the Freedom Cry DLC (I have not tried the multiplayer yet). When I'm playing AC4, I can almost feel the sea breeze against my face, the salt on my lips, and the spray of water against my skin... it's one of the best games I've ever experienced.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, Love it! November 27, 2013
Platform for Display:Xbox One| Edition:Limited Edition|Verified Purchase
Better than the PS4 version, geussing the other review is by someone that is obviously hating on Xbox and probably never even bought or played it (Will never understand people like that). Everything included is perfect and as expected. Exclusive code was emailed. The game itself is awesome I love it! Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of The Top 5 Epic Games I've Ever Played January 10, 2014
By SF

The visuals are stunning although I did expect that they would be slightly better considering it's a NextGen title. But seriously, the game! Are you kidding me? The thing is huge. The side quests are amazing. You don't even have to play it, you can just watch someone else play it. If you liked Skyrim or GTA5, you should like this game. The ship mechanics are extremely well done even though if you break it down it can at times be like driving a car. I could turn the ship around in a pretty tight radius after running into a sheer cliff. The statue looks amazing on my shelf and the flag is well made. The art book is beautiful of course and who doesn't like a soundtrack? I love the AC statues but if you aren't into that kind of thing, at least get the game! 20+ hours and not even 1/2 way through it. Truly Epic!

3.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointing May 7, 2014

The statue is okay and everything else just okay. The collectors edition for 3 was much cooler. I can't recommend it unless you want a really unnecessarily tall figure and a pirate flag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Xbox One Limited Edition... August 7, 2014
Platform for Display:Xbox One| Edition:Limited Edition|Verified Purchase
Fantastic game! This is the first game in a decade that I've played from beginning to end, and I loved it! There were some glitches, but nothing too terrible. Unless you've got a lot of money to throw away, then it's not worth $130, but $50 maybe... I bought this on sale for $60 and was a little disappointed by everything in the box, but it's not too bad, especially since just the game was selling for $40-$50.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Game. December 18, 2013
By Sean
Platform for Display:Xbox One| Edition:Limited Edition|Verified Purchase
First of all, my package arrived 2 weeks before the expected delivery date, so thanks Amazon, great customer service as always. Now, Assassin's Creed has always been my favorite series and this game is amazing. I love collecter's editions of games and I had to get this one without a doubt. The statue looks amazing, assembly took me awhile but it was fairly easy. I haven't opened the flag but according to its measurements its huge, the steelbook case is amazing and I loved the addition of an art work booklet, everything is great quality. Compared to other collecter's editions this one went beyond my expectations, it brought many more things than any Halo or Call of Duty collecter's editions include and for a lower price. Now for the game, its beautiful, I'll give it that, the graphics impressed me. Gameplay is longer than the other Assassin's Creeds and you will not get bored, it is not as repetitive as the other games and the map is twice the size (also the map opens up entirely in about 3 sequences unlike other Assassin's Creeds where you have to progress into the story). Collectibles? Too many to count, this game has more collectibles than the other games and to me, that's a good thing because it gives you something to do after you beat the game. So many side missions and things to do, the game seems endless. I have a total gameplay time of 9 hours and I'm still only 72% complete. The game keeps me entertained even after the main story. The ship battling, navigating system and upgrade has expanded massively. Upgrading your ship, buying all the weapons and outfits, upgrading the pirates hideout, upgrading Edward's pouches and armor, this all takes awhile since coming across money isn't fairly easy in this game. I will keep playing until I am at 100% and cannot wait until the next Assassin's Creed.
