Sondheim at his prime,

The music to Assassins is incredibly written. There's no doubt that it's Sondheim at his best. The unusual rhyming schemes and clever lyrics make this musical one of my favorites. You can't escape the underlying humor of a musical about a bunch of U.S. presidential assassins. The music may be a little difficult for beginners to play (or sing, for that matter), but if you're up for a challenge, I say definetely go for it!
