If I take price out of the picture and just look at this game for what it is, it deserves a solid 4 star rating. The game is fun with selectable weapons and lots of stuff to destroy. The graphics are pretty good in HD and the pace of the game is just right.

Now if I add the $5 price tag to the game, it deserves 5 Stars. There is plenty of fun to be had in this game for the price of $5. You will spend a few hours playing it more than once, especially if you want all of the achievements. Some are hard to get and some just come along with normal gameplay.

My one minor almost irrelevent complaint though, is that nobody else on Xbox live is playing this game so finding an online session is near impossible. The only way I got to play online was because a friend on my friends list has the game and we created our own session. Not really a big complaint, or a big surprise that an older game doesn't have much XBL action.

I still recommend this game both for it being fun and cheap.

I love having arcade games. Some days I am just not interested in playing a full on blockbuster game. I like simple games when I'm in the mood to relax. I also play these games when I am waiting for a friend to finish up to play some co-op or online.

This is a game I played the demo for back in the day. My brother had it on his xbox and I gave it a try. It's a blast.

It can be best compared to Contra and Smash TV. Left stick controls the movement of the character (man or truck) and the right stick controls the direction of the shot. You build up your weapons (machine gun, rocket, and flame thrower) and you can cycle through them however you want. You can get in and out of the vehicle. Vehicle is strongest, but, if it gets blown up, you're on your own for a few seconds before a new truck appears. Multiple enemies and big boss battles, which is a favorite for me! Not the best game ever, but definately a lot of fun!

I guess the things that would keep it from getting 5 stars include:
-No vehicle customization
-Kind of short (though replay value is there, it's NOT a forever game, it's a "leave it alone for a couple years and you'll pick it up again" game)
-Suicide bombers are racist in nature (think stereotypical terrorist scream, but mocked further in a toonish kind of way). In all honesty, I laughed at this, so it really doesn't weigh in on my rating, but wanted to point that out.

Overall:

This is highly recommended from me. I really enjoyed the game and am still playing it. The achievements are realistically difficult for those who collect achievements. Definately obtainable.
