5.0 out of 5 stars BETTER THAN THELMA AND LOUISE
This film predated Thelma and Louise by a few years and surely served as a model for that film without being credited as such.
It received justly high reviews by prominent crtics.e.g, Roger Ebert. Elizabeth Kaitin, who went on to become a soft core staple, does an excellent job. No eplicit sex here

1.0 out of 5 stars Not bad enough to be funny, just bad
My wife and I love funny-bad bimbo movies. Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death is one of our favorites, and we love anything by Andy Sidaris.

This one just reaks. The dialog is flat and the people don't look like they had fun making it. Rent it, don't buy it. Yech.

5.0 out of 5 stars On The Run To Mexico (With Elizabeth Kaitan!!!), May 21, 2005
Okay, so I know this movie will never win any Academy Awards. Having said that it is still a fun movie to watch if you are in the mood for a light comedy. It is about two Go Go dancers who are framed for the murder of "Shifty Joe" who is their boss at the dance club. Then Christina Whiattacker and Elizabeth Kaitan are on the run to Mexico where they meet a waitress , Darlene on the way who decides to join them in their run from the Law.Then they meet some "Surfer Dudes" , one of them played by a young Nick Cassavetes and the stage is set for a lot of fun to be had in Mexico. I actually enjoyed this movie more than the very much overrated "Thelma and Louise " . A road trip to Mexico , lots of fun along the way PLUS Elizabeth Kaitan? Gee. What more do you want in a movie?

4.0 out of 5 stars PLEASE marry me Ms. Kaitan!!!!!, May 17, 2006
This review is from: Assault of the Killer Bimbos (DVD)
this movie is an outstanding example of the hungarian-model-turned late eighties B-movie actress who only starred in four movies Elizabeth Kaitan. She is absolutely the cutest and most divine creature to have ever walked this earth as she portrays Lulu, a waitress who gets caught up in a getaway to mexico after her go-go dancer friend Peaches gets framed for murdering her boss, shifty Joe. But thats okay, 'cause Lulu likes Mexican food!! This whole movie is basically funny and its pretty lightweight stuff in terms of plot and seriousness. But Liz makes this movie special with her sweet innocence and total naivity. This should have been a pg-13 movie, but theres a lot of f-bombs and some unoffensive nudity (courtesy of Liz). Absolutely a neccessary viewing, if you like blondes, and especially the most beautiful and most special blonde to ever appear on screen EVER!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars "Oh no! A bimbo with a guhhhhhnnnnnn!!!", November 10, 2003

This review is from: Assault of the Killer Bimbos (DVD)
When you start out to make a bad film and it is truly bad, you've actually created high art. So many people set out to make good films that ultimately fail. Why aim so high when you can create a classic like "Killer Bimbos"?

I was actually startled to find this film had been transferred to DVD. It's one of those films that you watch with your friends and end up laughing yourself sick.

The basic premise of the film is about a couple of go-go dancers who are mistakenly fingered for offing their sleazy boss. While on the run from the police, they "rescue" Darlene, a trackstop waitress and attempt to find Mexico. During this ridiculous escapade, one of the girls feels she isn't very pretty and the ringleader decides that the middle of the desert is a great place for a makeover.

There are some amazingly stupid lines that are so funny that you will find yourself quoting them at some point down the road.

Do yourselves a favour and pick up this gem. It's only $9.98 and worth every penny. I was well chuffed to find this one. Now, if they could only get the classic "Nice Girls Don't Explode" with Barbara Harris, Michelle Meyrink and Wallace Shawn onto DVD, my life would be complete!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not enough, June 11, 2000
By A Customer
Good movie, I'd say it's worth watching if not buying. Funny, and they do try to work the satire angle by having the girls as "go-go" dancers, not strippers, although this cuts down on the nudity. And, that's the biggest problem with the movie, three hot babes, and only one gets naked--although she does so a few times. She's blonde, she's hot, but she still only one out of three. The acting, the writing, the stunts all work and the movie actually makes sense (in it's own world, of course)as opposed to a few large buget, over acted theatrical releases of late. I'd rather watch a cheap bad movie that's funny and has nudity than an expensive bad movie any day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Queen of the B movie!, February 9, 2000

"redlitedave" (Syracuse, New York) - See all my reviews
This film is the mother lode of most B films out there. It includes a cast of very well known actors such as Nick Cassavettes, Eddie Deezen (anyone who knows movies knows who he is), Griffin O'Neal, and Jaimie Bozian. Not to forget the main stars of the film Elizabeth Kaitan and Christina Whitaker. Their portrayals of the street smart go go dancers who outsmart the law and just about everyone else is impecable. I believe they put their so called counterparts, Thelma and Louise, to shame. Could Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon pull off the classical art form in a rock and roll format..... in bikini's? I think not! The repoire between these two fine actresses mezmorizes any viewers of the film. Not to mention their way cool Plymouth Fury! The dialouge is superb....well, it is really funny. Perhaps besting the written dialouge is the ad libbed background lines. Although you really have to listen or see the film about 100 times, this part really makes some scenes shine. As a veteran Bimbo watcher, the best aspect of the film is the surfers and their crazy antics. Their car also rules and makes any surfer jealous beyond belief. Tune into their lingo and "pastimes" and feel like you are sitting in the back seat with "Billy-Boy". I could go on and on about this film and recite the entire dialouge, but I will just say....WATCH THIS FILM AND LEARN! So.....COWABUNGA and enjoy!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Assault of the Killer Bimbos (DVD)
Assault Of The Killer Bimbos is my new guilty pleasure movie. It's dumb and light as a feather, but it's also fun and campy with some lively performances from the actresses who play the bimbos. Fun for fans of those movies that used to come on USA Up All Night.

5.0 out of 5 stars Urban Classics' Masterpiece, March 6, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Assault of the Killer Bimbos (DVD)
Assault is the true masterpiece of the almighty Urban Classics Studios, the same people who brought you the classic Galactic Gigolo and the overrated Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-a-rama. This video is a must for parties. My friends and I don't even need to watch it anymore, we can just repeat the lines to each other. Assault doesn't take itself seriously at all and is great because of that. Trust me, 10 minutes of Assault beats the entire 1999 critics poll of The Village Voice. Standout performances include Nick Cassavetes, son of the famed director John Cassavetes, and Elizabeth Caitan. If you can't enjoy this movie, you probably take yourself far too seriously.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best party movie EVER, April 2, 1999
Why don't they pull clips of this out next time Nick Cassavettes is on late night television? This movie doesn't take itself seriously and is all that much better for it. A total laugh riot, right down to the hidden sound effects and bad dubbing. Some of the funniest marijuana smoking scenes ever, and totally unabashed about it! My friends and I used this film as a model for our spring break in 1994. Makes you want to hit the road with your buds and head to Mexico!!!!
