This cast aluminum filter cover wrench fits the cover used on BMW N54 & N55 engines. It's a quality die casting and well finished so should last forever. A much better tool then the cheap plastic or stamped sheet metal wrenches found at discount auto stores. As a bonus, it has a beautiful, bell-like tone if you tap it gently. Tap a plastic wrench and all you get is a dull "thud". With a name like "Assenmacher" it's got to be good!

Exactly as advertised! Amazing how much easier a job is with the right tool. Changing oil on a 2002 Volvo S40 was made much easier with the proper oil filter wrench to remove the oil filter. Where previous oil change jobs resulted in no filter change, this took a matter of minutes to remove.

This tool precisely fits the oil filter housing. I used it on my wife's 2008 BMW X3 3.0L engine. Definately a great bargain!

it fits just perfect for my 2001 volvo s60, i dont have to pay more than 80 bucks on an oil change anymore...

I bought this on a note that it would work on the filter cartridge of my 2007 BMW 530xi. It worked perfectly and made the oil change a snap. Highly recommend for someone who does not want to pay dealer prices for an oil change. Please note the torque recommendations when you put things back together.

Fit perfect for my N52 '07 3.0 SI BMW Z4. Very thick, looks like it will last forever. No parts stores sell these locally.

I was about to purchase this tool from the Volvo dealer. The dealer wanted $40 for this tool. I told them was it being exported from Sweden? The hell was I going to pay $40. Went on Amazon and found it for far less. Fast shipping and it fit like a glove. Love it. Now no more paying $89 to get an oil change when I can do it for under $35. ($10 for filter and $25 for synthetic oil). DIY in under 30 minutes.

First off Amazon delivered, on time as promised. The wrench is made in the USA and of cast aluminium. Seems sturdy all flashing removed, cleaned up well and I expect to get years use out of it. Fit the oil canister snugly, able to use either socket or wrench for fastening and removing filter. Will look for others to fit different filters. A very good purchase. Highly recomend this item.

I purchased this because there is no clearance for a regular oil filter wrench. I was leary of this wrench but after all the reviews I was willing to give it a shot and it was a perfect fit for my 2006 Volvo S60. Plus it's made of cast aluminum and will last forever!

this tool is awwwwsome. i tried a few different tools from local part stores but the filter couldnt be taken off, it kept rotating around the filter housing. the material was so flimsy. But after receiving this tool from tooltopia ($12) - about one week after i placed order. ToolTopia is great. i finished the whole oil change job in less than 30 min. In you face JIFFY LUBE. if you do oil changes you need this tool. GREAT TOOL FOR AN EASY OIL CHANGE. this is a must have for VOLVOS with a cartridge filter. glad i bought it.
