Editorial Reviews

Review

'If you could choose two people to write you a guide to self-assessment in your organization, I cannot think of better authors than Les Porter and Steve Tanner. Their collective knowledge on the subject is second to none and it is encapsulated in this refreshing book on assessing business excellence. They have used the integrated total quality framework to give far more than just a 'how-to' book - one that can help organizations actually achieve excellence'. John Oakland

'...highly recommended...a concise, logical exploration of achieving competitive advantage through an integrated TQ framework.' Self-Assessment

4.0 out of 5 stars It is the right book for the right tool, April 21, 2000
By
Omar Najjar (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) - See all my reviews
The book helped me alot through my master thesis in self-assessment and also to practice the tool in my company. It helps every one who wants to know more about why organizations need the self-assessment tool, the various models available for assessment, and the different approaches for implementing self-assessment. The only negative is that it does not include case studies. Any way I did not expect that one book can contain every thing I want.... But the book supplies me with 90% of what I need to know about the subject.
