Great Resource Book
This is a great resource book for teachers who need to work on comprehension strategies. Without assessing you students, how do you know whether or not they are understanding the concept---until they take the ITBS--then it is too late.

Some good text samples
This isn't one I'd run out to buy again. It has a rubric for each thinking strategy and some assessment ideas, but the CD didn't work as I expected and I think you get just as much assessment information (maybe more) through quality conferences with kids.

This book is awesome for assessing comprehension strategies. My 5th grade team is using this book too. I've shared it with other teachers at my school. It rocks!!!!
