I am an SLP and work in a hospital setting and have found this to be an invaluable resource while working with clients of all ages. It takes what you've learned as a grad student and sums it all up into a useful resource that you'll use over and over again.

I use this as a text in my Diagnostic Procedures Class which I teach at So. Il. Univ. @ Edwardsville. This book has tables, norms, and forms for diagnostics in a variety of areas. I wish I had this book at my disposable when I was doing work as a staff therapist. It takes the best diagnostic information from a variety of texts and puts it in one book!

This is an incredibly useful resource! It contains all of the information and forms you need to informally assess a range of speech and language disorders.

This text is one of the easiest assessment books to delve into. It is used as a foundation in understanding the assessment process. If you are considering grad school, you have got to get this text!

I love this book. It is extremely helpful and has a ton of information in it. The reproducable forms are also great for a student or beginning professional. Definitly recommend!

I ordered this book when taking my pre-reqs before getting into the SLP program. It's a great book. It pretty much breaks down everything you are going to be needing. Coincidence is that I am going to be using it next semester for a class, so that's great...
The only thing that I didn't find in the book that I wish it had was direction on how to write goal and objectives. I just ordered a couple books that seemed to have themes dealing with that... so we'll see.

A very helpful resource for assessment (language, articulation, voice, stuttering, neurogenic etc.) It has various lists of norms and sample reports. I found the additions to this version very useful. The CD ROM for printable forms (and some are also editable) makes my life so much easier. The pictures and diagrams for testing and training are colorful. I would recommend this product to any clinician - new or experienced.

This is a very useful text for graduate coursework. I would highly recommend it. The CD with printable forms is extremely useful for when I get out into the field.

This is a good resource for review of assessment as well as for using to assess clients for functional skills.
