This review is from: Assignment: Tyrant's Bride (Mass Market Paperback)
Sam Durell, K Section, CIA field agent supreme is sent into blood-soaked Africa to find and save the wife of a warlord bent of tribal genocide. Lots of twists and bloody turns, gunbattles, torture sessions, a danger-filled trek through croc infested waters, traitors, mercenaires, interesting characters, lots of informative local color and Sam's sweetie, Deirdre is right in the middle of the madness with him. Excellent plotline, fast-faced and great page-turning fun. One of the better, newer Durell adventures. Who can he trust? Who is a traitor? Who is out for themselves amid the carnage and plunder? Can Sam complete his mission and get them out alive? Well, read on...
