4.0 out of 5 stars Learning The Ropes
For those who are entering into this level of ministry, this book is a MUST. I'm not even finished reading but I've been truly enlighted. It's hard figuring out what your role in ministry may be while others who may not even be on the search for direction from God scrutinize and say who and what an associate Pastor is supposed to do and be. This book is helping the...

1.0 out of 5 stars The Associate Pastor Second Chair Not Second Best
A WARNING TO ALL WOMEN who might be considering buying this book: On page 2 of this book he uses the word "men" with a nice little endnote explaining that although he believes there are places for women in ministry, because of personal doctrinal beliefs pertaining to women, he is largely addressing this book to men in ministry. This book is helping the scales be removed from my eyes and also allowing me to realize what it is that I was "designed by God" to do! Not necessarily what people expect but what God Himself expects and accepts.

Not someone I will be giving money to. Its going right back in the box and out in the mail for a refund. Hard to believe he could have anything relevant to say given those "doctrinal beliefs." Join this century, or even the last one. One star only because that is the lowest you can go.
