4.0 out of 5 stars Silicon Skin Puch for Nike+ Sensor
Really ingenious way to use the Nike+ sensor without paying extra for the Nike+ shoes. Straps onto the laces on top of shoe. Easy to take out if want to use the shoe for something other than running or walking - like walking on the beach, or playing basketball, etc. Taking the sensor out will hopefully extend battery life, which is the major complaint with the Nike+...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not useful.
I've been unable to get the Nike+ sensor to work correctly with this pouch. Apparently, the Nike+ sensor was designed to be positioned parallel to the ground and in about the middle of the shoe (with the red side facing up). When I initially tried to use this pouch, the sensor was on a slight angle (as one would expect) which was enough to cause the distance measurements...

I also got great service from the Marketplace vendor used by Amazon; fast delivery and actually cheaper to go through Amazon than to go directly to the vendor's website. The silicon pouch so far appears to be sturdy, flexible and very practical.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Product!, February 5, 2009

I've used the sensor pouch/case for months now & its perfect! I've run thru rain-storms & puddles & it hasn't even so much as gotten wet because of the secure, rubber case; I love that it doesn't shake or make noise, I don't feel it at all. The sensor slide in easily, like putting a button on, and other than when I initially put it on, I haven't had to touch it. This should be sold with every Nike sensor!

5.0 out of 5 stars awesome, June 17, 2009

This product allows me to use any sneaker I want with my Nike running pod and not just the Nike plus running sneaker. It is snug and I have yet to have any issues with it.

When I initially tried to use this pouch, the sensor was on a slight angle (as one would expect) which was enough to cause the distance measurements to very inaccurate - even beyond the point where calibration would help. In the end, I ended up taking a Dremel to the sole of my shoe and made a nice comfy home for the sensor. Now my distance results are usually within ±5% of each mile.

This review is from: 11 Assorted Colors Silicone Pouch Compatible with Nike+ iPod and Nike+ SportBand Nike Plus - Compatible with all Shoes (Apparel)
Cheap and comes in every color but its big and the lacing takes forever. I didn't find it very comfortable either.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT silicon Pouch, October 1, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It is a great pouch. The first time it is a little difficult to put the chip in, but once you get to know the pouch it becomes really easy. I have two pairs of shoes (two pouches) and one chip and rotate my shoes every week. Switching the chip is really easy and only takes me a minute.
Lacing it up it is also simple if you just check the pictures on how it has to be laced up.
Unfortunately I have not tested in rain or snow yet, but by experience I can tell you that the possibilities of your chip getting wet while inside the pouch are minimal. However, if you plan on running down in a strem or pothole or river, I can assure you that water will get inside the pouch even if you submerge your foot for one half of a minute.
For the price it is a bargain and really easy to use.

This product is wonderful. I can't wear Nike shoes because they don't fit my feet for running but i love the nike+ so being able to use it is beyond amazing. This product is easy to use, holds the chip tight and secure and works perfect. I tell everyone about it because it is so helpful. super quick shipping too :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for a Rainy Day Runner!!!, October 7, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've been using this pouch for about a month now and am very happy with it. It fits securely with my mazuno laces, supports accurate readings, and is very lightweight. I was thrilled last week to find after running 5 miles in a monsoon, the sensor remained dry and still works thanks to this snug fitting rubber pouch. Our rainy season will soon arrive and I can't wait to continue my runs without worry. I'm ordering another today for my husband and a spare for me to have on hand.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Product, August 7, 2011

used the product and ran for a path that has 10.1 km. After the race I checked the distance that the Nike + gave me, 9.8 km. Very accurate and perfect. It is securely attached to shoes with no risk of going out and you be surprised to have lost the product during the race.
