Just received these in the mail and they are great! They're a bit bigger than I was expecting, but I didn't really pay attention to the measurement listed in the product description. Such a wonderful alternative to the plain hooks I was looking to buy for my son's room from Home Depot.

I'm very pleased with these hooks. The surfboard part is about the length of my hand and the hook part is fairly long too. We use these hooks to hang towels from, swimsuits, etc. (my kids have trouble getting the towels on traditional bar towel racks). They could hold kids jackets too. Don't think it would hold up to a heavier weight adult coat though, but lighter jackets or smaller sizes yes. There are little flip hooks screwed into the back to hang from.

These aren't quite as large as I was thinking. Cannot use them to hold really heavy items. Will put them in my laundry room to hang caps on. A couple of the "boards" weren't shellacked properly so the wood looks funny.

The hooks are great: big (about a hand), well done. Looks like handmade which adds some charm to the room they are settled.
By the way they are easy ti settle - you just need a nail in the wall and you don't need to screw them on.

So, there you are, stuff lying all over the place and a sadly drab, wearily bare wall. Bad combo. Solution: Surf Board Wall Hooks. These are a little larger than one might expect, so they would be good for towels, light sweaters or belts. They could also be used for a very cool key rack, if you have a bunch of different keys on different rings for different things. I happen to use them as cup holders and they make that whole side of the kitchen jollily well-hooked.
