About the Author

Jim Kouri is the author of Crime Talk and a contributing editor for Police Times Magazines. He's an award-winning cop and journalist, and his experience includes work on the national drug task force. Kouri's also a well-known TV and radio commentator and criminologist and his frequent appearances include Oprah, The O'Reilly Factor, CNN Headline News, Sam Donaldson Show, and dozens of others.

He's currently a security and counterterrorism consultant.

Originally, this book was only available as a CD Rom which is not very practical for a reference book on crime and police science. The author addresses many interesting topics like crime scene investigation, sexual assault cases, police procedures, use of force guidelines and other topics of interest to journalists and other writers, as well as students.
