Multitask in your home office with the 15-inch Astar LTV-1501 LCD flat panel TV, which can also double as a PC monitor. The LTV-1501 features sleekly modern lines and a table stand, and it also includes wall-mounting hardware. It offers vibrantly colorful imagery from both the built-in, 181-channel NTSC TV tuner and computer sources, and great sound from two side-mounted speakers that provide 5 watts per channel (10 watts total power).

This set has a 4:3 aspect ratio for standard television programming, a 1024 by 768-pixel resolution, 140-degreee horizontal viewing angle, fast 16 ms (millisecond) video response rate, 500 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, and 400:1 contrast ratio. (The higher the contrast ratio, the greater a TV's ability to display subtle color details and not get washed out by ambient room light.) Other features include support for 480p enhanced definition television (EDTV), a sleep timer, multiple-language on-screen display, V-Chip parental controls, closed captioning, MTS/SAP stereo output, and auto power shutdown.
