Ok it's about the Easter Bunny kicking some butt out there, how could you not love this story.

He's a 6 foot tall, master of everything, created the continents, INVENTED FLIPPIN' CHOCOLATE, and he has this staff thing that let's him travel through time.

PEOPLE, we have found a 6' 1" fuzzy time lord.

ALL HAIL THE EASTER BUNNY

My daughter read this and the other book for AR. She loved every one of them. It took her less than a week to read each one. It was great when she would run and tell me what was happening in the story. She can't wait for the next edition.

Amazing story for all ages. I read it and my little sister read it, and with 14 years in between us, it was equally enjoyable for both of us.

Reason for Reading: Next in the series.

Another wonderful entry in this fabulous series which harkens back to the fantasy of L. Frank Baum, both in its whimsical early 19th century brand of fantasy and in its style of writing which includes chapter titles such as "Wherein the Friends Must Separate" and " In Which There Is a Fearful Discovery and a Whisper of Hope". The story continues on from Book One which ended happily but left a quest unfulfilled. All our old friends are back again as they search for the second artifact and it is this journey which leads them to Bunnymund and his steampunk world of egg-shaped machines. A delight to read, this book (and series) is especially aimed at that special age of 7-11. As I've remarked before, not since the Spiderwick Chronicles have I been so taken with the whimsy of a fantastical setting and story. This would also make a great read aloud, though there is a touch of darkness that may frighten younger or sensitive children. The illustrations continue to be superb and it is the combination of the text and artwork that makes this series so appealing.

I choose this rating because of the price, condition and shipping promptness of this item. I would recommend E.Aster Bunnymund to young readers, as my granddaughter has enjoyed two books of this series and is looking forward to the next one she receives. I enjoyed the pricing of books from amazon and anticipate future orders through amazon.

I got started on this book as soon as I finished with the first Guardian's book! I knew that Bunnymund in the movie adaptation was far different than the one presented here so I was eager to see the changes and similarities. Pitch is still the ultimate villain in this book, returning to terrorize children and having a personal grudge against Nightlight. But he has several powerful forces working against him, coming together to bring about his downfall!

I still loved North in this book and especially how unenthusiastic he was about working with Bunnymund. Katherine was delightful to read about because she's really just a young girl thrust into all of these fantastical journeys and facing the king of nightmares himself. The settings in this book don't disappoint and are just as gripping at they were in book one. Now we get to see Pitch's lair as well as Bunnymund's home, where he creates the most delicious chocolate and doesn't have any for himself. Why? He says that it's bad for Pookas, but you'll find out just what it does to them if you read this book!

I really, really can't wait to read more of this series especially because the next book features the Tooth Fairy! Toothiana was my second favorite character (next to Jack Frost, of course) in the movie adaptation so I'm excited to read all about her!

I recommend this book to people of all ages. This lovely tale will tug at your imagination and have you remember just why you have to believe in these legends!

I really love this book. It made me remember how much fun I had growing up and it was a joy to read it to my little cousins. They can't wait for me to read them the next fight against Pitch.
