These Asterix movies are extremely well done and funny. First let me you the plot. Obelix (who is a friend of Asterix) falls in love with a beautiful Gaulish girl named Panaseia. However she is in love with someone else. When Panasea and her lover get kidnapped it's up to Asterix and Obelix to save them. This hilirous movie contains the foreign legion and a battle in the colluseum. It is a shame that most Asterix movies have gone out of print. Movies like Asterix the Gaul, Asterix and Cleopatra, and the 12 Tasks of Asterix are nearly impossible now a days to find. I recommend that most of you get this movie while it is still in print. It will leave you laughing all the way.

If I had known this video was animated, does not star Laetitia Casta, and is really a children's film I would not have ordered it.

I've had Asterix and Caesar for a while now, (recently I've lost it, however) and it is a great movie! The plot is good, and the animation is terrific!

Yet here is another good Asterix video. When Obelix falls in love with Panasia he finds out she is in love with someone else. When she and her lover are captured by the Romans it's up to Asterix and Obelix to save the day. This movie shows you the real way the colloseum was partly destroyed. Well not really but it's still funny.

When I was first introduced to Asterix and his pal Obelix, I was a French student in high school. I loved the cartoons so much that now I wanted to share them with my daughter who's learning French. I was under the impression that these cartoons were in French, but they're not. They're still great, but I'm a little disappointed.

A comedy classic that is sure to leave you laughing! Asterix battles the Romans in their own backyard, with the help of Obelix. Many funny adventures. My favorite is when Asterix confronts the Roman Bureaucrats in their Tower of Babble!

This movie is exellent, only one thing i dont like is tha Obelixs voice in the dubbed english version doesnt fit well, but hey! this movie is a barel of laughes that will be making you diving for the comics if you havent devoured them already.

Thumbs Way Up!

Asterix in britian is a realy cool viedo. I espashaly like the voises for Obilix, Asterix,Anticlimax. I think it is a very funy video and i hope they make lots more. I i am about to order another asterix viedo (Asterix versus Ceaser) I hope it will be sa good or better than Asterix in britan! I hope to get them all soon.
